MEZMER'S INSPIRATIONS
My earliest inspirations in magic included, Illusionist Doug Henning, Siegfried & Roy “The Superstars of Magic,” and mentalist “The Amazing Kreskin.” Doug Henning literally changed the face of magic, when he retired I acquired and performed several of his illusions in my show. I have been honored to visit with Siegfried and Roy many times; Siegfried even gave me suggestions on how to improve my illusions. While starring at a Nevada casino I actually met and shared a poster with Kreskin who appeared on the “Tonight Show” more times than any other variety act. Currently Criss Angel “MindFreak” and the incredible David Blaine continue to inspire my work. Although I have not yet met Criss, Mark Cannon Criss’s escape consultant helped me develop one of my feature escapes. I recently had the pleasure to meet David Blaine and he absolutely is inspirational as a person and performer.
